Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and activist for animal rights. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). In New York, she was born into an creative family. She began as a photo assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. In her first two films she received recognition and won an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world and also an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies she was deemed as the top female performer film in the history of box offices. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her signature and hand-footprints engraved. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
