Taylor Momsen, an American performer and songwriter, hails from St. Louis Missouri. Taylor Momsen is an American singer-songwriter as well as model and actress of Saint. Louis, Missouri. The most famous of her roles is Jenny Humphrey in the CW show Gossip Girl. Momsen's songs have been featured in the film and television series, including How to Be a Single and the show Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. At just three years old, Momsen acted professionally in an Shake and Bake 1997 national television commercial. Momsen's profession was put on hold for three years before she landed the leading role in Misconceptions. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh in the year 2006. In addition, she was one of the three top contenders for Hannah Montana's main role. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the role.
